We are seeing more and more of our water-loving visitors bring their own paddleboards to Blessingbourne and head out for a relaxing scenic paddle on Lough Fadda. If you have water sports equipment like paddleboards or kayaks, don’t forget to bring them along on your vacation.

Fishing

Lough Fadda is a great place for some recreational fishing with your friends and family, or peacefully on your own if you prefer the solitude. Pike, perch and roach are what you can expect to reel in from our lake on your visit. We also offer boat hire for those who want to get out in the middle of the lake rather than fish from the jetty.

This is one that is not to be missed for any adrenaline junkies out there as it features a variety of jumps, drops, rock gardens, berms and table-tops to test your ability on a mountain bike.

Blessingbourne offers bike hire to residents but you can also bring your own bike if you prefer.

Clogher Valley Show

Taking place a short 5-minute drive away from Blessingbourne is the annual Clogher Valley Show. The family fun event welcomes 20,000+ visitors each year and is jam-packed with competitions, activities, food stalls and more horses, cattle and sheep than you can dream of counting! Definitely not to be missed if you’re looking for a fun day out on your summer holiday.

Festivals and Music Events

There’s nothing quite like a colourful festival buzzing with music and laughter on a summer holiday. Every year you can expect a variety of new festivals and events in Fermanagh and Tyrone that are perfect for the entire family.

The Lady of the Lake Festival takes place every July in Irvinestown. The event is steeped in Folklore and you can expect to see plenty of vintage cars, lorries, outdoor activities, competitions, live music and so much more.

Right on our doorstep are 2 fantastic 9-hole golf courses – Clogher Valley Golf Club and Fintona Golf Club.
