We are seeing more and more of our water-loving visitors bring their own paddleboards to Blessingbourne and head out for a relaxing scenic paddle on Lough Fadda. If you have water sports equipment like paddleboards or kayaks, don’t forget to bring them along on your vacation.
Lough Fadda is a great place for some recreational fishing with your friends and family, or peacefully on your own if you prefer the solitude. Pike, perch and roach are what you can expect to reel in from our lake on your visit. We also offer boat hire for those who want to get out in the middle of the lake rather than fish from the jetty.

The family fun event welcomes 20,000+ visitors each year and is jam-packed with competitions, activities, food stalls and more horses, cattle and sheep than you can dream of counting! The Lady of the Lake Festival takes place every July in Irvinestown. The event is steeped in Folklore and you can expect to see plenty of vintage cars, lorries, outdoor activities, competitions, live music and so much more.

Are any of your kids interested in horse riding? If so, you are in for a treat as The Forest Stables horse riding school and trekking centre is only an 8-minute drive from Blessingbourne.
