Unexpected Northern Lights in Fermanagh

Fermanagh

It is fantastic that you do not have to travel far to see such a beautiful natural phenomenon! This incredible photo of the Northern Lights was taken by Laura Johnston on the 6th March 2016. Maybe the next time you visit Fermanagh you’ll be lucky enough to catch this incredible sight.

Even if you don’t get to see the Northern Lights, Fermanagh has plenty to offer anyone travelling to the lakelands. With the wondrous Marble Arch Caves, breath taking views of lough Erne and of course many many  fantastic restaurants and cafes, it’s a great time to visit as we are celebrating the year of Food and Drink in Northern Ireland! Blessingbourne is the perfect base to enjoy everything that Fermanagh has to offer as well as the many attractions in Tyrone. We are located in the heart of woodlands and wildlife nestled on the edge of County Tyrone and the Sperrins and the Fermanagh Lakelands.
